For Teachers & Other Activities
Arising from repeated demand, the program “for Teachers” is our latest addition to the Dance Master Class list of courses and was added in 2016.
The aspiring goal is to provide an occasion for dance teaching artists to take a little “time out” to focus on themselves, boost skills by attending inspiring refreshing workshops and make contact with other dance professionals. All too often we hear from individuals who are finding themselves somewhat isolated in their personal teaching settings; dance teaching artists need to engage with other teachers in order to facilitate the sharing of knowledge.
Larger teacher seminar style gatherings may be intimidating or exhausting and are frequently syllabus based; our intention is to present a series of ‘Composition Workshops for Teachers’ together with an assortment of activities, in a non-competitive atmosphere, enabling attendees to select those most appropriate for themselves.
