Accommodation in Italy
The published course fees include shared-self catering accommodation only.
Self Catering Shared Apartments:
* Students will be housed in 2 bedroom apartments sharing bathroom and kitchen facilities.
* Rooms are shared by 2 students according to age or special pairing requests.
* This accommodation is self catering. Students provide their own food.
* All flats are provided with bed linen, towels, crockery, cutlery, kitchenware, hairdryer, television and an iron. Utility costs are included and are shared equally by all flat mates.
* Shared – self catering accommodation only has been included in all course fees.
Single rooms for chaperons and assisting guests are also available by request. (Rates per person)
Alternative Accommodation
Family stays:
We highly recommend that you stay with a host family. A family stay will cost extra but meals are provided. All meals can be provided but we generally recommend ½ board. If your aim is to learn as much Italian as possible, you will be learning Italian even as you eat!
Family stays can be arranged only if specifically requested. (Rates per person)
Single apartments:
Depending on how much independence you require, there are independent mini apartments. Single apartments may be shared by two people and we recommend that couples share independent mini apartments.
Other accommodation:
At an “agriturismo” (guest-house on farm) or in a country house a short distance from Urbania may arranged through Scuola Italia (our language teaching associates).
A car is usually recommended if you wish to stay in one of these locations.
Please note that correspondence concerning accommodation can only be entered into after students have been accepted on the course.

Very attractive self catering apartment accommodation is available for parents and relatives in a near by town Peglio which is only 3km out of Urbania. Less expensive than a hotel or ‘country house’ but understandably more than the students rates, places are subject to availability. There are buses that run quite frequently from Peglio to Urbania but for complete convenience a car is recommended.
