Sara Accettura
Sara Accettura was born in Bari (Italy), were she trained in ballet and modern dance since the age of 5 at Artedanza Rossana and achieved her dance Diplomas (Diploma for a Proficiency Course for dance teachers at I.D.A., Master in choreography at European Dance Alliance of Rome).
She started her dance career, winning several international awards and dancing for different organisations and events, until she moved to London to train in contemporary dance at London Contemporary Dance School. In 2007 she graduated with a First Class Degree and after she worked with Diversions Dance Company of Wales as an apprentice, whilst attending a PG in Performance.
In September 2008 she moved back to London and started collaborating with Cedar Dance Theatre Company, Diciembre Dance Group and Combination Dance Company whilst achieving a Master in Performance at the London Contemporary Dance School.
Since then she has been also working for Leila Dance, Maddogs Dance Theatre, the British Fashion Awards, Rich Fulcher, the Secret Cinema of London, whilst teaching contemporary technique or the Young Saturday Classes at The Place and for the School of Dance (Mortlake) and assisting ballet classes at The Ballet School of Notting Hill directed by Vanessa Donkin.
Sara is now co-director of Diciember Dance Group (London) and the artistic director and founder of Junior Dance Company (Italy).
