Erin Lamont – Jazz / Musical Theatre and Hip Hop
Erin Lamont originally hails from Detroit, Michigan. She graduated from Western Michigan University with a B.A. in Dance and a B.B.A in Marketing. Erin began her choreography career in college, creating works for annual departmental concerts. At 21, she independently produced, choreographed, and directed her first dance concert. The series sold out every show.
Immediately after graduating, Erin was hired by Anita Mann Productions and worked as a dancer on Holland America Line. From there she moved to Los Angeles where she is currently an established dancer, choreographer, and model. Her credits include; Nike, Puma, Vidal Sassoon, Wella, ABC, Disney, ESPN, Playboy, and Wyndham Resorts.
Erin is also on faculty as a jazz instructor at the world renowned EDGE Performing Arts Center in Hollywood, and faculty on the legendary Hoctors Dance Convention.
She has choreographed for Skechers, Norwegian Cruise Lines, FW Production’s live spectacular Jambalaya, in Nassau Bahamas, 2006 L.A Design Week, XANADU Live!, Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, the Music Video Production Awards, The LA Clippers, EMI Recording Artist Natalia, and ESPN halftime shows for the Alamo, Emerald and Champs Sports Bowls. Her guest artist work continues to span the globe with trips to Tokyo and Sydney already in line for spring of 2008.
Erin is also the associate creative director for Los Angeles’ highly acclaimed dance entertainment company, FUSION entertainment.
